STEAM Sundays

  • Workshop will go over how to:

Convert VHS tapes, photos and Kodak slides into a digital format. Organize your files into a cloud-based content management system. Upload files to your very own YouTube channel that you can share with your family and friends. Time and space permitting, start your own digitization project

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. On STEAM Sundays, we invite children and young adults ages 8+ (5+ with parent assistance) to join us in the Makerspace for related activities! At least one Sunday a month will be an open play session, where children can try out STEAM activities. The remaining sessions will be focused on completing specific (and sometimes challenging!) projects. Consider which sessions are a best fit for introducing your children to STEAM and please let your child know what they should expect in class, using the descriptions on the calendar.

Registration is required through the library’s calendar.

Join us to make, create and use: 3D Printing, Makey-Makeys, Ozobots, Snap Circuits, Tinkercad, Raspberry Pis, Arduinos, Little Bits, LEGO Mindstorms, Cricut and much more!

And explore concepts such as: geometry, culture, aerodynamics, chemistry, molecules, chemical reactions, circuitry, engineering, ROMs, problem-solving, robotics and much more!
